Our website is a resource hub for information on high drug pricing, its impact, and potential solutions. Through our advocacy work, we hope to increase public understanding of and support for laws that deal with the underlying factors that lead to high medication prices, such as fraud, lack of accountability, and little or no competition.
Our Mission
African countries do not have the privilege to bargain for a new drug’s pricing based on the benefits it offers hence drug prices can be set high, regardless of the value they offer, and we aim to eradicate this underlying issue.
We aim at working with physicians and medical groups be pushing for drug pricing laws and regulations that are needed to implement the majority of the improvements that need to be addressed, given the close financial ties that physician and patient organizations have with pharmaceutical companies.
